Good copy of Thematic Statement Paragraph due by end of  class Friday Oct. 14.

 We will be starting our final  short story on Friday Oct. 14 in 8-2 and Monday Oct. 17  for 8-1

We have started the unit Expanding Horizon--Transportation and Communication in the Roman Empire.

 Please sure to have handed in your "Jigsaw" Notes on Important Travel Inventions--They are worth marks!

On Friday, October 14 we will take a closer look at mapping in ancient times and students will be assigned a "Map Your Neighbourhood" Assignment.

 Also coming next week-Time Zones!

 On Friday Oct. 14, students will be assigned a "Seasons Poster"  incorporating much of the vocabulary we have been studying including definite and indefinite articles (le, la, les & un, une, des)
